A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

J’aime beaucoup.

Bottle from a local grocery store. Pours a copper color with a slight red hue. Great balance of malt and hop with caramel being the dominant flavor. Very nice and easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Vanilla flavor comes out in this one. Nice palate and balance with some bitter hops. Not sweet like some ambers. This one has a little bite. I def would reach for it again!

From bottle.
Rosy amber colour with a voluminous cream coloured head. A gentle sparkle is evident in the glass. The aromas are of gorgeous ripe dessert stonefruit, sweet pastry. There’s some gentle spice: cinnamon, cardamon.
In the mouth it is fluffy and then just a burst of ripe blood oranges, tangerine and pink grapefruit. Then there’s the nectarine and peaches. The bitterness is quite gentle but there is a lingering finish thanks to all that fruit. A bit of a sweetie this one.

Nice amber color and little to no head when poured. Actually pretty sweet but with some nice hops flavor. Caramel flavor is very apparent

12oz bottle. Pours a clear amber/brown color with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of caramel malt and some piney hops. Taste is the same, but more sweet then bitter.

Alleycat is a typical amber ale with the nice added flavor of cascade hops. I like this as an everyday beer, but it possesses nothing special enough to save or drink with others.

Pours a deep gold color with a thick head. This is a surprisingly good amber (its not my style of choice). Lots of caramel and toffee, but well balanced with the light sampling of hops.

Acquired thanks to hayduke, thanks Ron. It poured a copper color with a tan head. The aroma was of sweet malt, some spicy rye and caramel. The taste was of caramel malt that was lightly carbonated, smooth and creamy. A very good Amber Ale.

Appearance was clear dark gold with lasting Biege 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are sweet caramel, pale malts with hints of rye, hops are soft citrus fruits. Taste is sweet caramel, toffee and rye tang with lemony, orangish hops. Palate was creamy smooth CO2 with meduim body, spicey sweet average length lemony finish. A good amber brew.
