COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is an assertive blend of malts with a sprightly cascade of hops.

A very good red ale, although the aroma was a bit weak compared to the red ale that I was testing it against.. The label is interesting, but a one-eyed alley cat? I have seen too many beers described as "cat piss"; not a good association.

Bottle @ Astral beers. It pours amber with a great beige head on top. Great aroma, good bitterness with caramel hints.

Pours amber out of bottle, with little or no head. Definite malty aroma, but not too strong. Flavor is more mild than expected. Decent beer but nothing to call home about...

Pretty good amber. Good in the right places. Pours amber. Smell slightly hoppy, malty. Has slightly bitter aftertaste. Some tang at the end as well, almost metallic. Carbonation slightly above average. Slick consistency. Bottle.

Tap at Yard House in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Pours a clear amber. Beige foam. Sweet cherry nose, sticky, vegetal, big grenadine. Taste is tangy, suddy, grainy, small chemical. Palate is powdery, mealy, dry, lots of sweet cherry and cardboard. Hydrogen peroxide.

This is a plain, easy drinking session beer with sweet candy and red fruit taste.
