Pours up a clear amber color with a thick off-white head. Super hoppy grapefruit and ester aroma. Grapefruit and ligh pine flavor with a load of hops. Not bad, but Kind of one dimensional.. hop bomb. Darkmagus82 (2303) - - AUG 13, 2014

Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass
Appearance – Served a golden orange colored brew with a one finger white head that has a decent retention, eventually fading to give a light level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of tropical and lighter fruits of tangerine, banana, pear, kiwi, and pineapple. With these fruity aromas are a good Belgian yeasty smell with an accompanied with a citrus and pine hop aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and sweeter tropical fruit taste. The tangerine and pineapple start the fruit taste profile, but are soon joined by a banana fruit flavor as well. With the entrance of the banana there is also an entrance of some yeasty and spicy (allspice and clove) tastes as well as a stronger citrus and pine hop flavor. These hop flavors grow even stronger toward the end of the taste and when there mix with a light alcohol flavor to leave a warming, hopped flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the lighter side for one of 9.5% abv with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. Both the lighter body and the higher carbonation make more a more crisp mouthfeel overall.
Overall – Quite delicious ad very drinkable. One to give a go to if you have the chance.
Golden orange pour with a white head. Fruity esters and a nice spiciness of clove. Banana, hints of bubblegum, and citrus hop aromas. Sweet caramel malt, too. The flavor is a bit too sweet, but otherwise good. Bubblegum, banana, pear, and lots of citrus. Mild spice notes, yeast, caramel, and bread. Light pine and citrus bitterness. Pours a pale golden-orange with a foamy white head and generous lacing. Aroma is typical Belgian fruitiness from the yeast and grapefruity hoppiness. Flavor is a caramel malt sweetness with a nice cardamom scented hop edge for the finish.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours golden with a nice off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a sweet caramel malt flavor with some banana ester and a carbonated finish. reberiii (497) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2013
The tripel part of this beer overwhelms the IPA portion, but it’s still a solid brew. Sweet front and middle, slightly hoppy backend. bhensonb (15832) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer. Pours amber gold. Aroma is very lightly fruity. Med body. Flavor is light sweet caramel with some fruit ester. Very mild Belgian aspect. Tasty in a laid back manner. Aurelius (5587) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Floral, narcissus sweet aroma. Clear, gold. Incredible, lasting ice cream head. Tangy, sweet, mystery citrus, clear gel flavors. Crude, not good tripel, not good IPA. Fermentation Lounge, thx PorterPounder. PorterPounder (8312) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 20, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - Fermentation Lounge on tap, slightly hazy medium golden pour with a firm thick head that would get up an walk away if you gave it the chance. Aroma has a clove-like presence with a hint of bubble gum. Flavor is decidedly sweet with some heavy Belgian Candi sugar, a solid dollop of bubble gum, a back end of cloves and some booziness permeating throughout. Thick sticky mouthfeel. Pretty solid.
