Tap at Eureka. Rating #65. Hazy, darkish yellow/orange pour with a decent dirty white head. Big juicy citrus sweet aroma. Muted flavor, light bitterness, very subdued overall, but pretty good. (1823) brokensail (16678) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 24, 2011
A: The beer pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head. Beerona97 (2399) - Washington, USA - MAR 6, 2011
S: Not terribly hoppy and quite sweet on the nose. Some bread and a fairly strong caramel malt smell to it with a bit of pine and grapefruit, some grass, too.
T: The flavor is fairly sweet with lots of floral hops and a bit of grapefruit and orange. Sweet caramel malts and a touch of sugar. Just a touch of pineapple and pine bitterness. As it sits, the pineapple comes through more.
M: The body is sort of light with a medium carbonation.
O: I wasn’t terribly impressed by the nose, but the flavor was pretty nice.

Served on draft at Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear medium amber color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of earthy notes, caramel and tropical fruits. The taste is very tropical with notes of mango, pineapple and canned fruits. Pale malts as well. Medium-full bodied with lingering bitterness. OK... not my favorite.

10/8/10. On tap. Cloudy orange pour with a small off-white head. Sweeter cat pee aroma with some flowery citrus notes. Sweeter citrusy flavor with a bitter lingering cat pee flavor. Strykzone (7717) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2010
A 12 oz bottle hand capped and sent by Hayduke. A delicious looking ale that is opaque mid brown with a small off white head that soon becomes a ring and some independent circles. "Delicious" also describes the aroma. Rich but delicate fruit, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. A surprisingly pleasant feel that is silky smooth. Big alcohol taste but somehow it is not an offensive one. Fruit permeates every sip with nice caramel. Interestingly, in this IIPA the hops are barely noticed. That is actually a compliment to the brewer. The hops offer wonderful fruit notes that were so delicious they just melded into the beer. Just so smooth! How did they do that?! Ron, thank you so much for this beer! Sledutah (7938) - Utah, USA - AUG 21, 2010

Strong citrus hops suggest lime, grapefruit and tangerine with some underlying malts and a light touch of alcohol in the aroma. Lightlyhazy and somewhat oily looking golden body is topped by a low white head that that recedes to ring with some lacing. plenty of cereal malts with strong but not overwhelming bitterness and lts of fruity citrus and melon and floral notes especially in the aftertaste. Medium body with moderate carbonation and gentle alcohol warming. Sampled on tap at St. Augustine’s.
