On tap at a local bar. Strong hop aroma. A lot of carbonation. Good lacing with a small half a finger head that fades pretty quickly.

Draft from notes. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweeter malts, some grapefruit and orange citrus and resiny hops, light toast, mild to moderate bitterness, definitely sweeter and less bitter than most imperial IPAs. On tap at The Brass Tap poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, orange zest, pink grapefruit and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, light orange zest, light earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish. On tap. Hazy gold with a thin creamy head. Medium aromas of floral hops and sweet malt. Nothing strong or overpowering. Flavors are floral hops, citrus tones, and a well balanced hop bite. Beautifully understated. This is not a big, bold IPA, but a nicely balanced, lower ABV beer. Beers like this often pass as pale ales, but the floral hops here are well represented to give it a slightly more well-defined character. Medium mouthfeel. Crisp finish. I really like this one. mkel07 (5842) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique April 2014. Hides the alcohol quite well as you don’t get a big alcohol kick. Deep amber almost orange colour with hops hops and more hops.

Poured from tap. Deep golden bordering on orange, delicate white head which dissipated quite quickly. Everything you’d expect on the aroma, Spruce, grapefruit, white pepper. Taste wise it’s quite bitter with a bit more bitter and a hint of caramel malt sweetness. Long, dry finish enhances the bitterness. pictoman (1084) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 29, 2014
Poured from the tap. Citrusy grapefruit hops. Medium body. Lingering bitter finish. beechner224 (1024) - Melbourne, Florida, USA - APR 13, 2014

Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy sour citrus and earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. 1L squealer. Pours clear golden with a small but think one finger white head. Nice resinous piney aroma that also follows through the flavour with a sweet toffee malt and heavy bitterness.
