Tap at Brother Tuckers. Amazing hop floral nose. Sweet, juicy, fresh, pungent hops. Taste was minimal amounts of bread, wheat germ, awashed in massive hops. Sweet, syrup. Body was too thin. Hid the 8.5% very well. Svesse (8577) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2008
(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 17 June 2008) Amber colour, hazy, with beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with dried fruit, resin, grapefruit and orange peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, dried apricots, resin, pine needles and toffee. Well balanced bitterness, fairly sweet, chewy mouthfeel. Nice one. Draught @ BTAH VSK, ’05 vintage. Pours a cloudy orange-amber, light, with a pillowy off-white head.Nose is an almost candy caramel malt sweetness, citrus - like a bowl of candied pineapple. Taste is a big, sweet malt body, lots of very rich caramel, underpinning a nice, hoppy citrus hop note throughout. Dry, light bitterness, and just a hint of astringency. Medium body, crisp but light carbonation. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 28, 2008
On tap at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Nice hazy red copper colour, but poured with a small head. Delicious raisins and caramel aromas, followed by more bitter dry nuttiness as well as fruit in the mouth. Solid trouble. Taverner (1100) - San Ramon, California, USA - AUG 24, 2009
Pours a cloudy orangewith white head. Grapefruity aroma finishing on a woody bitterness. Excellent lacing on the glass.

Draft at Enoteca in Post Falls, ID. Clear gold, large beige head. Aroma of pine, pineapple, stone fruit, grass. Thick malt body, lots of bitterness on the finish. Tmoney99 (14365) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 13, 2014
Draft sample. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Medium to heavy sour citrus and earthy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy smooth bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bitter finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer. Shot (517) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - SEP 26, 2014
On tap. Hazy gold with a thin creamy head. Medium aromas of floral hops and sweet malt. Nothing strong or overpowering. Flavors are floral hops, citrus tones, and a well balanced hop bite. Beautifully understated. This is not a big, bold IPA, but a nicely balanced, lower ABV beer. Beers like this often pass as pale ales, but the floral hops here are well represented to give it a slightly more well-defined character. Medium mouthfeel. Crisp finish. I really like this one. On tap at The Brass Tap poured a clear golden amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, orange zest, pink grapefruit and a hint of pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, grapefruit, light orange zest, light earthiness and a hint of pine with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 29, 2008
Draft @ Belmont Station. Dark tawny brown colored body with a soft and thick tan head. Sweet and chewy sugared cherry nose with heavy notes of sweet caramel malt and maraschino cherries. Rich, tangy, peppery black cherry hops greet the tongue, and the light toast and sweet caramel in the back combined with a well-rounded fullness and frothyness is quite enjoyable. More like those imperial red ales than a double IPA.
