Served on tap. A dark amber, light brown beer with a slightly off-whit head. Aroma is very nutty with some caramel sweetness. Taste is slightly sweet with the malts dominating. There is a nutty overtone to the taste as well. A somewhat thin and watery mouthfeel. In sum, a very pleasant brown that tilts toward the nutty.

Bottle, South Richmond version of Total Wine. Pours brown with a dusting of an off-white head. There’s some shit floating in the beer. Aroma is caramel, fall leaves. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, not too sweet, some browning leaves. Not a lot else. It’s fine, simple, but totally downable. shawnmurphy (770) - Plattsburgh, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2017
12-ounce bottle pours brown with spritz of tan head and lacing with chunks of live yeast floating in the glass. Aroma: faint brown sugar and nuts. Flavor: same as aroma. Mouthfeel: medium-bodied, somewhat creamy. Tasty and drinkable, but a bit too thin for style.

12oz bottle on 4th Feb 2017 at my daughters new place in Laguna Niguel. Nice brown body, beige head: malty lead which carried through to the finish. Aroma had malty molasses and chocolate notes, taste just followed on with semi-sweet maltiness and chocolate flavours. tightslice (1541) - Redwood City, California, USA - DEC 28, 2016

Dark Amber to light brown color with off white/cream colored head. Aromas and flavors are balanced nicely between nuttiness, caramel, toast, and subtle roast and florals. An easy drinking sessionable brown. brownaler (759) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 25, 2016
Nut brown aroma with a smooth pole in the body with brown sugar and walnut. A nice and refreshing brown ale.
