Light bronze colour. Fruity aroma - pear mostly. Fairly crisp, with light diacetyl. Fairly dry towards the finish, with some biscuity, grainy notes. A hit or miss style - this misses for me, taking me nowhere.
Cloudy orange, thin white head. Smells kind of sweet and sour. Its heavy - overly so, actually - and sweet at first, then a nice bitter finish. On tap, Barley’s Aheville. Angeloregon (2055) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2007
Rich gold color, clear and crisp. Small white head. Grainy, bready flavor with a nice boost from bittering floral hops. Alcohol nicely masked in this amazing beer. Not a typical pils, but quite nicely crafted. redlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 21, 2007
Fruity aroma, some citrusy notes, clean and spicy. Pours rich gold color with a thick white head. Crisp, cereal, great pilsner flavor, kicked up a notch. One of the better imperial pils i’ve had actually. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 7, 2007
On tap at Vino’s in Roseville, CA. I really don’t like pilsners, but this one was actually pretty good. The taste starts off a bit sweet, then turns bitter at the finish. The body is surprisingly strong and malty for this type of beer.

On tap at the Federal in Durham, NC. Orange color resembles an IPA more than a pils. Slightly cloudy. Big white head. Earthy hops with a touch of lemon grass in the aroma. Malty flavor with a touch of hops and a surprisingly dry finish that gets harsh by the end of the gllass. Ain’t nothing wrong with this one. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 6, 2007
Surprised there aren’t more ratings of this. Had a couple pints at The Federal, Durham. Tall Hefe glass, this beer’s got a nice deep orange hue and moderate head. Not much of a nose on this one, but what there is resembles a wit more than a pilsner. The mouthfeel is pretty rich and the taste slightly recalls Victory’s prima. Not bad but a little harsh. Pint on tap at The Graduate in Davis, CA. Pretty faint aroma. Some mild herbal hop notes are present. I also get some lightly sweet, fruity notes, too. Mildly hazy orangey-copper body with a smallish off-white head. Floral, perfumey hop flavors to start, turning biscuity, grainy, and a bit metallic. Finishes dry, herbal, bitter, and hoppy. There is a lingering light sweetness. This is ok, but seems a little sweet and citric.
