Aroma of pine - not citrus for me. Coppery amber color with a persistent white head; small motes in the glass, small chunks in the bottom of the bottle (lightly filtered?). Starts piny hop, and malt sweetness quickly follows. Small amount of grapefruit after a bit. Moderate mouthfeel. It must be well balanced, as the finish is hop and light sweet. Ends more puckerish than sweet.

Bomber bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with a large frothy light brown head that lasted and had good lacing. Heavy hoppy citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid complex hoppy citrus flavor with a light sweet finish of average duration. Very solid brew.

Cloudy brown body with medium off-whit head. Aroma is medium grapefruit/floral hoppy, with some sweetness. Taste is intensely hoppy -- grapefruit with a hint of floral. Slight sweetness. Finishes with good solid bitterness. Medium body with some chewiness.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2014 Bottle - Smells like a dream, rich floral and grapefruit notes either a candy sweetness. Clear orange with a thin head. Tastes just like it smells with a mellow bitterness that lingers. My goto IPA.

Keg at National Beer Hall, Calgary. It pours orange-amber, with a thick off-white head. The nose is orange, sweet tangerine, sweaty sock, orange sherbet and fresh pine. The taste is pine, orange zest, tangerine, tangy marmalade, light resin, hop bite and sherbet, with a long bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Great flavour and balance. A delicious IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy bronze color with visible floating particles. Good head retention and fair lacing. Huge citrus in the aroma. Some resiny hop notes as well. Taste is fresh citrus, candied citrus, lime, grapefruit, lemon. This is all about citrus. A bit of toffee as well. Medium bodied,

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2012 Re-rate 2/22/12: Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagans place. Thanks Lee. Slightly hazy deep golden Slightly stale hoppy aroma with some malt. Flavor has light sweetness with a bitter finish of somewhat stale hops. Medium-bodied. Past its prime (its the same batch I tried before, but this bottle got held in the mail for a few months). Not calculated in the total score. 5/3/6/3/12=2.9

Bottle. Hazy dark orange-amber color with a stable, medium, bubbly white head. Great citric hops aroma with some flowers and pine. Rather dry flavor with only very short malt sweetness and a lingering, grapefruity, bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. A very nice IPA. A great beer to start my birthday with. 8/4/7/3/15=3.7
