Dark gold to light amber haze color with a dense head of whipped white foam. Definite caramel malt at the base. Grapefruit and sweet orange citrus cut through the malt. Not too dry and surprisingly smooth smooth for an IPA.

330ml bottle served in a thumbler glass. Pours a cloudy dark orange to amber forming a medium creamy light yellow head with medium retention and lots of lingering lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is caramel, grass, resin and pine. Slightly sweet upfront taste. Strong notes of caramel and resin. Grapefruit. Grass, zest and pine. Strong west coast character :). Good bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Great drinkability. Great American IPA.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden colour with a nice white head. Smells and tastes hoppy, fresh, pine, fruity, bitter. Nothing wrong with this IPA. Medium body, nice crisp carbo.

AssKicker (496) - Strasbourg, FRANCE - APR 13, 2017
