I have mixed feelings about this IPA. I will agree that it is a nice dark looking IPA with a great amount of hops. I drank it one night and really enjoyed it and then the second night I drank it my beer was not very cold. I didn't realize it being exceptionally warm but the taste was 100% worse the second night. So I'm gonna go with my first reaction and agree this is a hoppy flavorful delicious IPA.

Pours hazy amber/ruby color with white fluffy head, very small bubbles, stays for a long time. The aroma is citrus, pine, grapefruit, malty sweetness, grainy, and slight amount biscuit and caramel. the flavor is sweet grainy flavor up front (like pislner) flavor followed by pine, grapefruit, some earthy grass notes. Ends with bitterness slightly lingering. the body is medium with a soft texture and all the bitterness comes at the end.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is malt, light citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh crisp fruity light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A decent beer but nothing special for me. The high rating surprises me.

Bottled, 355ml from BeerMerchants of Kent. Orange amber with white head. There is a medium malty body to this, sweetish maltiness, some biscuit, light roastiness. The hops are the main event here, orange and mango marmalade notes, rich fruity hops, loads of depth carrying on the orange theme. Full and refreshing, very decent.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, bread and hops.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque golden/amber beer with heavy yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread and hops.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Loads of malts with just a slight hoppy flavour. Mostly orange and bread thanks to this. Great appearance and palate.

Keg at Draft House Tower Bridge. Amber/golden, just slightly hazy. Huge head, this is a lively little fella. Light malty smell with metallic notes and earthy notes. Taste is bittersweet, a bit gluey, with grassy hop in the finish. Its certainly drinkable but I had higher hopes for this.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2016 From a 355ml bottle on 27/10/2016. Pours a fairly clear golden with a small to medium head. The nose features fruity hops, with some mild fne and resin. In the mouth, it starts out with a good dollop of biscuit and caramel malt, followed by some sweet citrus and stone fruit The hops are quite firm with some resin and metallic notes. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A solid, quite malty IPA.
