Bottle, WholeFoods, Orlando. Pours a deep brown colour. Bready aroma with hay & raspberry notes. Fairly full-bodied, the raspberry taste is there, but I wouldn’t mind it being a bit more upfront. More malt and bread late on, decent, but more of a brown ale than a fruit beer.

Tried it at 2 Sparkys in Salem, OR. Had a great raspberry taste but there was a slightly fishy aftertaste, not enough to discourage me but just a little odd. I will try it again some day.

poured a very deep, clear red-brown with a thin light tan head. Raspberry syrup aroma with some toasty malt. The flavor reminded me of Brach’s chocolate-covered raspberry nougats, with plenty of raspberry flavor (which was pleasant) not quite balanced by toasty, chocolatey malts

EatMore73 (30) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 23, 2015
Pours a cloudy ruby-brown with a creamy off-white head. Aroma starts with raspberries and then follows with sweet malt, chocolate and some hops. Taste is mild-- mostly sweet malt with less raspberry than the aroma suggests and some chocolate. Light to medium bodied.

Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 30, 2015
Pours a clear medium brown with a small fizzy brown head. Aroma of raspberries, chocolate, nuts, caramel and cocoa. Taste is much of the same with sweet chocolate and raspberries shining through with other grainy malts in the background. Pleasantly surprised by this beer as its a good mix of raspberry and beer.

Aroma is raspberries, malts and mild sweetness. The flavor is raspberries, malts, mild sweetness and a tart finish.

Bottle pour. Cloudy dark brown amber with a creamy tan head. Aroma is raspberries and chocolate. Medium body. Taste is a medium sweet with a bitter, then finishes with a little sweet aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Dark reddish brown. Thin soapy head. Potent raspberry aroma. Cloying sweetness and next to nothing aside from the color aludes to being a brown.

Bomber format Dark brown with ruby highlights. Light tan head that falls to a thick collar. Spotty lacing. Nose is raspberries, fairly tart nose with subtle brown ale components. Grain, roast, coffee, chocolate, and toffee. Taste is chocolate, roast, coffee, toffee and subtle raspberry. Fruit does get bigger as it sits in mouth. Finishes chocolate and tart. Light bodied, good carbonation and pretty mellow really. Its approachable. Its not bad at all really. Needs a bit more body.

Cruzer (103) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 25, 2014
Pours dark brown, aroma of raspberries and other fruits. Flavour of mild raspberry and brown ale.
