pours dark brown. Small light brown head. Smells of chocolate and coffee. Tastes like a chilled coffee with a twist. Overall pretty good winter time beer.

Deze brown ale heeft een hint van bruine suiker en melkchocolade. Ook rozenbottel is aanwezig. Niet heel bijzonder, maar wel prima.

From Cervezalandia. In Teku glass. Playing Blackwell Epiphany. Some nuttyness with a hearthwarming alcoholic feeling that makes it pretty pleasant. Good looking aspect.

Chocolade bruine kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt zoetig, mout, chocolade, vanille, herfstfruit. Smaakt smaakt lekker vanille, chocolade, zacht.

355 ml bottle.
Pours hazy dark brown color with a large off-white head. Caramel on the nose, malts, subtle nutty notes, mild hops and ripe fruits. Flavor is very bready, dark malts, subtle caramel sweetness with molasses and strong bitterness. Full-bodied, strong carbonation, slightly sweet finish. Has almost some Doppelbock-esque qualities. Not bad.

Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark bread, some nuttiness, chocolate, toffee, mild dark fruits, berries, some liquorice, touch of spices and some light hoppy notes in the finish. Flavour is above medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Enjoyable malty winter warmer.

Aroma:
Slight/medium aroma of malts, caramel and nuts.

Appearance:
Turbid/opaque ruby/brown beer with heavy yeast and with a slight off-white/beige head.

Taste/Palate:
Medium sweet with malts, caramel and nuts.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, but misses any other flavour than the caramel and nuts. It is a one trick pony and does the trick decent enough.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of caramel malt. Clear dark mahogany brown color, two-finger beige head that slowly drops, streaks of lace. Taste is malt and light spice, as one might expect in a Winter Ale, but following a fizzy swallow, harsh hops, almost rye flavored, crash in for an unusual malt and hop fight. The two sides can find no agreement. Could be better.

12oz bottle into a Corsendonk glass on 20th May 2016 while on holiday in California. Dirty, murky brown body, scummy off-white wisp and collar, no lacing. Chocolate front in the nose and taste, mild spice hints in both the aroma and flavours too. Better than it looked.
