On tap at beer dinner. Light golden pour with thin bubbly head. Aroma citrus, light yeast and florals. Flavor well balanced sweetness carried by spice and floral. Medium body. One of my favorite Saisons. Not too bitter, not overly floral. Clean finish that begs a return.
From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild estery. Slight fruity. Mellow. Fruity. Mellow estery and fruity far finish. JStax (6504) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - OCT 18, 2016
Draft sample at the source. The beer is a clear copper with a white head of foam. The aroma has toffee and licorice notes. Dry sweetness in the taste. Earthy, floral and herbal. More of a sweet beer. Medium body and medium carbonation. thepatrickman (1355) - Jevington, East Sussex, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2016
From notes (July 2015). It starts with the standard flavors, aromas, and looks of a saison, but it ended too sour/acidic and thin for me. OK, but not complex enough to be a Brett saison or refreshing enough to be a normal saison. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - FEB 27, 2016
Draft. Golden pour with white head. Herbal, citrus and grassy hop and spice aromas. Flavors just seem off, floral and herbal, but something is not right. Bad keg? dlovell2 (2140) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2015
Pours hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is light fruity malt with some spicy herbal hops and horse blanket. Flavor is light fruitiness with some spicy herbal yeastiness and some funk.

Tap at Lost Nation, hazy golden yellow with white head. Notes are very straight-forward saison with pepper, yeast, orange peel, and light spice rounding out the smell and taste. Very average but quaffable. ClarkVV (6708) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 15, 2015
Draught at Lord Hobo, 5/8/14.AirForceHops (7240) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 24, 2015
Brassy-gold liquid shows minimal-to-no haze and has a small, dense, half-finger head that recedes to cover.
Vanilla, light pepper, honey, biscuits and some nectarine/peach in the nose are all quite tame. Malt is a bit dominant, perhaps, but there is no flaw or alcohol.
In the flavor we have a very restrained, slightly on the sweet side Americanized saison. Certainly not one of the big messy esters, heavy peach offenders, but it’s still just mostly earthiness, yellow fruits and some apples. A bit too much acidity leading to some astringency and a rather thin feel to it despite the sweetness on the end.
Draft at Lost Nation. Orange color, no head. Big citrus nose with light yeast. The flavor is about what it should be. Light yeast presence, good citrus hops with a lasting citrus after the swallow. Very subtle funk hidden under the citrus. Nice but nothing to memorable. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUN 15, 2015
On tap at Hinesburg public house.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. There’s barely any lacing.
The smell starts off with a rustic to funky sweet citrus running over top of a light bubblegum aroma.
The taste was mainly sweet through the bubblegum and citrus. Lingering sweet bubblegum aftertaste leads to a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and leaves a sticky sweet smoothness over my tongue.
Overall, for a saison, it’s super sweet. I didn’t mind it but not exactly 100 % true to style.
