This was poured into a pilsener glass. The appearance was a light yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation rises at a light pace to fill a two finger white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. The smell starts off with a sweet and dry grassiness over top of a light biscuity goodness. Light floral leafiness rounds out the aroma. The taste was the sweet grassy dryness leading into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a smooth semi-sticky sweet feel laying down on my tongue. Overall, what a wonderful pilsener, think it leans towards the German side of the wheelhouse, but I have two more cans, so, I’m content with that. Wouldn’t mind with some bratwurst with this one!

PhillyCraft (7114) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 28, 2015
On tap. Pours a pale golden color with medium head. Notes of bread, light yeast, pepper, lemon, grain, and corn. Really easy going and drinkable lager bier. Medium bodied Pilsner.

canary dog (766) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - JUL 26, 2015
I was anticipating something so great with this beer. I could not believe how mediocre this stuff actually was. Remarkably bland and light, with no real body. Very thin and bitter aftertaste with a total absence of any malt backbone. Boring, and uninspired. I have heard so much about this local brewer, and this was their first I have tried. I’m really not in a hurry, now, to try something else. I am simply baffled by the great ratings here.

Draft at Magnolia, 7/5/15
Clear golden color with small head and minimal lace. Mostly bready on the aroma and flavor with some spice and floral notes as well. Medium bodied, with a solid drinkability and a mid-dry finish. Not quite as clean as it could be.

fiveacestx (970) - Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2015
on tap - light golden yellow color that leaves a ring of lacing. Has an aroma and taste of hay. Light sweet body. Crisp clean finish.

BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - JUN 10, 2015
This one started out nicely, but really started giving off a bit of butteriness on the finish. Not sure what happened here, but definitely had some good things going for it. Would like to try it again in case I got a funky keg pour.

3.6
Chalumeaux (1533) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 8, 2015
Taster at the source pours clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of malt bread and grass. Taste is dry and light with noble pils lingering in the finish.

3.4
mathieuc (3951) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 22, 2015
UPDATED: APR 2, 2016 Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of slight creamed corn and pilsner malt. Taste is moderately bitter and grainy. Body is medium and carbonation high. Overall a fair pilsner but the nose is slightly problematic.

A can I had last weekend was much better (and without the creamed corn feel), bumping this one to 3.4 from 2.9.
