Nice crisp clear golden coloured body with a very pleasant two centimetre tall just off-white coloured head - very nice. Aroma of crisp galaxy or australia/new zealand hops coupled with some tropical fruits with definite flavours of passionfruit in the mix. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit flavour joining with the malt and a light sweetness comes out as well with the nice balance. Aftertaste shows some subtle sweetness, a hint of caramel, a little malt body, some hop bitterness and a lot of tropical fruit - very nice and refreshing. Overall, a very nicely balanced IPA with more emphasis on the tropical fruits than the hops, per se, showing not much bitterness, but a lot of fruit smoothness and sweet flavours at the finish. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Falls Church (Tyson’s Corner), Virginia on 10-July-2014 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 28-October-2014. Bomber from Whole Foods Vienna, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium sized creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pine, citrus and tropical hops. The taste is caramel malt, apples, citrus and pine hops. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, decent balance. Homer321 (5046) - Melboring, Florida, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle. From a trade bonus. Aroma is a ton of citrus. Lots of marmalade and orange. Pour is dark orange with a large white head. Taste is very bitter initially then some light lemon and grapefruit. Hop flavor seems a little weird. Sort of earthy as it warms. A dry finish. Lots of carbonation. Ok. jefcon (1834) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 12, 2014

Tap. Slightly hazy marigold with a thin white head. Aromas of grapefruit, some slight pine, a touch of fruitiness but overall solid. Flavor has smallish pine notes and leans more toward grapefruit hoppiness, and thankfully devoid of too much sweetness. Medium body with finer carbonation. Clean and solid. On tap. Pours a cloudy golden color with a two finger white head that lasts and leaves nice lace. Big floral hop aroma with fresh citrus and honey. Flavors of citrus and floral hops, honey, orange zest, and slightly grainy. A bit sweet on the finish. Medium carbonation and body that is smooth throughout. tastybeer (1853) - Indiana, USA - JUL 29, 2012

Draft. Hazy golden color, medium white head, decent lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus. Taste is slightly boozy tropical fruit. Not bad. Easy to drink. Davetopay (54) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Excellent session ale for those who like a hoppy beer without having to worry about spoiling their palate as the alpha acids build up. The nose is heavy on the crisp citrus and grapefruit with hints of tangy floral botanicals and a sweet feminine perfume note that is quite enticing. The beer hits the mouth and just when you are expecting a sweet syrupy malt front end on it, you realize it is very crisp, clean, and dry. Biscuity, slightly toasty and very much like a euro-pils, with the slightly estery nature of the ale yeast fermentation showing through. The hops continue with their potent aroma, and follow through with actual FLAVOR, not just bitterness. The finish is crisp, and very clean without any metal, oiliness, or off flavor. It leaves you wanting more, which at about 6%ABV, you can have!
