Drank on draught at the brewery. Badly served, too cold and too fizzy.
This influenced the aroma, very weak at first, and in general how much I appreciated this beer.
Aroma: chestnut honey, caramel, mou
Appearance: amber, clear
Taste: Mainly sweet, light sourness, balancing bitterness in the end
Palate: medium body, a bit astringent solidfunk (8964) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - AUG 6, 2011
An excellent red beer, full of hoppy taste and a great bitterness that sticks around well after the last sip. A very complex red, the best of a good lot at Louisiane Ober (2812) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - JAN 27, 2011
A clear dark amber colored beer, with a light beige head. The aroma of sweet malts with caramel. The taste is sweet from malts and fruits like apple. Notes of caramel. The aftertaste is bittersweet.
