Lousiane witbier is brewed in the classic Belgian style. Coriander orange, and a special yeast culture are used to create a complete amd complex yet light beer. Local and imported wheat grains are blended with a special light coloured pale malt to give this refreshing finish. This slightly cloudy beer is delicious with seafood like oyster or crustaceaus, while it’s lower alcohol content makes it perfect for drinking in the hot wheather. Colour: 8 EBC Bitterness: 22 IBU ABV: 4.8%

Draft at the brewpub: hazy straw color with thin white head, lemony notes and slightly sweet.

Their version of a German wheat-beer. Very floral and bursting with flavour.

Visited the brewpub Nov 2012. The wit stood out for me. A bit heavy on the orange and coriander. Very refreshing on a hot vietnam afternoon.

Backlog Asia 2009, on tap at the brewery. Pale golden color, good foam. Aromas of fruits, citrus & coriander. Medium body & complexity. Very enjoyable

Not really a favourite of my. Was heavy in taste of perfume. Ok I guess, but nothing more.

200ml sample taster. Decent perfumy aroma with sweetish notes of bubblegum, cloudy appearance. Soft refreshing flavours with a touch of carbonic bite initially with an overall thin mouthfeel. This one finishes well with a touch of sourness.

A very tasty drink. The coriander is evident among the hoppy aftertaste. The aroma fills your nostrils as you swallow, a great sensation.

A clear yellow colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of sweets, with spices like coriander. The taste of sweet fruits with spices like coriander. The aftertaste is dry some fruity sweet.

Oakes (18851) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 28, 2009
Yellow. Clear. Icing sugar aroma with lime and coriander. Soft body. Balanced fruit and coriander on the palate. Light spicy finish and low hop note. Quite clean, perhaps not enough yeast character, as to be expected since it looks a little filtered.
