Just found my notes from long ago, it was a heavy drinking night...but I remember downing a number of these with pleasure.

0,33l fles bij de vooruit. Goudgeel met een witte kraag. Citrus fruit met graanzoetje en kamille. Bittertje in de afdronk. Zeker geen straf om te drinken

Nice full body of sweet malts and very Belgian sweaty yeast. Not underdeveloped but not clean either, a cheesy, unsurprisingly, appeal. Better than expected drivability with its soft bubbly carbonation and medium sweetness. Really nice actually! Not original or funky or farmy or even fresh, but well done tripel in artisinal style. (75cl bottle from cheese shop in Leuven)

Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - JUL 5, 2016
33cl bottle. A very decent triple. Typical sponge cake, fruity esters (apricot, banana, grapes) with some fresh apples and orange. Also very common pickled ginger, coriander and pepper spicyness. Overall very balanced and nothing comes out, not even the alcohol. Creamy mouth feel with medium carbonation. Quite sweet, I can now attach some of it to honey. Medium dry like white wine. Delicate bitterness. Short finish. A very drinkable 8%.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Blonde trouble, mousse épaisse. Nez plutôt neutre. Palais sur le fruit jaune, à peine sucré. Belle persistance.

750ml bottle [Thanx David!]. Cloudy, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy yeasty and bready, grainy malty aroma, a Marmite touch. Taste is grainy malty, moderately sweet, hints of treacle and pear (Grafschafter Birnenschmaus). Too sweet, not overly rich - meh.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2016 75cl bottle at home (3 I 2016), shared with my family. This biological, strong ale is brewed in Lochristi for a cheese cooperative, which used to be located in the center of Ghent. Now you can find the store Het Hinkelspel in rural Sleidinge, East-Flanders. Change of location, yet no change in name. This beer should be called LousbergS, with an S at the end. For it is named after the street where the cheese cooperative was located in Ghent, the Lousbergskaai - the street with remembrance to the Ferdinand Lousbergs dynasty, a family of cotton lords. Hey, Im an historian, so let me have this talk. Back to the brew. This is the first time I have it from a 75cl bottle. The beer has a brown, very cloudy iced tea look, with a beige, dirt foam. The nose has lots of sand, flowers (artificial though), ice tea (yes, again), citrus and oranges zeste, tea, and cheap honey. The taste really is special and distinctive. There are lots of dust and sweet flavours, together with many malt notes and an overload of honey, some flowery features, a massive yeast boost and eart. The carbonation is medium, maybe even soft to say so. This beer is not that bad, pretty much a taste of its own. But it also is nothing appealing. Which is too bad!

Previous rating: 33cl bottle @ De Warempel in Ghent. This beer should be named Lousbergs (with an ending S) - but Ill forgive the brewer its historical mistake. A golden, even yellow blond with nice foam. Spicy beer with a very fruity mouth. Not really my kind of beer, Im afraid.
