Jul. ’16. On tap at the second BiH Craft Beer Festival, Mostar. It poured a hazy dark brown, almost black body with medium sized brownish head. Aroma was fine smoothly roasted, cocoa, cooked dark fruits, light coffee but not that much as the name suggested. Flavor was dominated by it though, but not overwhelmed, with cocoa, dark and dried fruits, and some real complexity notes unusual for small micros like wood, licorice and whisky. Medium bodied with moderatel long, but very pleasant chocolate and coffee finish. Lovac didn’t fail this time either, a very nice stout!
On tap at its debut at the 2nd BiH Craft Beer Festival in Mostar. Black body with a tan head. Creamy aroma, plums, maltiness, the coffee isn’t that prominent here. In the taste, however, it is, dominating. Bitterish and quite dry, partially due to the tannins from the oak chips, quite interesting and pretty great to have around!
