2014l! Pours Orangish brown with a small tan head. The smell is molasses, brown sugar, dark fruit. The taste follows the nose ending dry. Medium body with active carbonation.

2012 Vintage. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to Kraddel. Reddish, faintly dark brown, little head. Smells of herbs, overripe fruits, herbal, leaves, lots of liquorish. Taste is sweet liquorish, herbal, leaves, overripe berries, not getting any barrel here. Bit thinner body. Pretty weak overall with a very hefty price tag. Medium to smaller sized beige light brown foamy head on top of a deep (dark) beautiful brown colored beer.
Aromas of caramel, toast, barley malts, soap and raisin.
Flavours of liquorice (wood), bitter, herbs, toast/roast, autumnal herbs.
Aftertaste has tones of autumnal herbs, toast, bitter and floral.
Medium carbo, blown mouthfeel, medium body and a texture between watery and creamy.
