Cloudy golden color, fleeting head. Aroma of flowers, perfume, white pepper and a little funk - they say there’s brett in here. Light-medium bodied with plenty of fruit in the middle, apricots and golden raisins. Not dry or sour finishing as you’d expect. Still, really tasty and well made.
Sample at the brewery. No head. Clear and beautiful amber body. Hermal mild fruith aroma and flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long finish. ghostbeer (250) - Nebraska, USA - JUL 31, 2016
On tap at brewer. Earthy aroma and flavor. Could have been more effervescent in my opinion. Several small batch saisons have been too heavy on the brett to make them nearly undrinkable but this one was really not bad. ajnepple (7338) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - AUG 19, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Slight hazy orange appearance with a mostly dissipating head. Aroma of mild banana, herbal hops, bready malts, light fruity esters and light spice. The flavor adds coriander and orange peel with moderate malt sweetness and light hop bitterness. Medium body. Slightly above average for an American saison. 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 7, 2015
Draft. Hazy blonde with a short white head. Yeasty banana esters and ginger ale, green apple, doughy yeast... The whole effect is more like weizenbier than saison. No phenols, malt is muddled, green apple and banana yeast character is basic and borders on unpleasant. Pretty uninspiring saison. onceblind (10862) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2014
Brilliant clear golden under a thin lacey white head. Estery nose of banana and barn hay and pepper and more hay. Very estery flavor of barn yeast and hay with plenty of tart tree fruit and lots of dry estery clovey dough.

Pour on tap at the brewery, slightly hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of coriander, clove, lots of citrusy orange peel, lemon, hints of grass, nice earthy, spicy hops in there, touch of biscuit and bread. Taste is spicy, earthy with coriander, clove, and pepper, hints of orange, slight grass, hints of biscuit and bread, finishing fairly spicy, earthy, dry. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 7, 2013
On tap @ Loveland. Pale golden pour with a white head. Citrus peel, pale malt, and coriander spice. Light lemon and orange peel. Flavor is dry grass, pepper, and citrus peel. Some pale malt, bread, and straw. A touch of yeast on the finish. notalush (5955) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - AUG 1, 2013
Tap at the brewery - light gold with a very slight haze - I was excited about this, since it is sub-6% - however, it falls pretty short for me - tastes sterile - it is dry and crisp, with very mild peppery phenols, but otherwise it tastes like dull grains and yeast - very neutral in flavor - just yeast, grain, and light peppery character - meh. On tap at the brewery. Pour is clear golden in appearance with a small white head. Doughy, yeasty, coriander, grassy, somewhat musty, and floral aroma. Taste is green apple, honey, a touch of clove, banana, yeast, and dough with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Not bad. A really solid saison. Lots of aroma with notes of yeast, banana, citrus, and a tiny bit of funk. It finishes solid with a nice dry finish that begs for another go. Really enjoyable.
