Bottle at Erzbierschof Monday Club. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is spicy, herbal and lightly boozy. Malts, too. Body is medium, fruity and again spicy. Some nice booze and sweetness on the palate. Smooth and nice, yet light but still tasty. Would drink again.

Leighton (19558) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2016
Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Red Session. Pours hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds light spices and herbs, fruits as well. Moderately sweet, with touches of anise, apple, more spices, wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes sweetly, with prominent potpourri character. Eh, pretty odd.

A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and bergamot. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cinnamon, bergamot, straw, leading to a dry finish.

Idiosynkrasie (6876) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 30, 2015
330ml bottle [2012 vintage]. Slightly cloudy, dark copper colour with effervescent, huge, frothy, collapsing, off-white head. Spicy, herbal, malty aroma, hints of aniseed, coriander, sage, clove, "Pfeffernuss". Taste is slightly tart, dry, tannic, herbal, minimally soapy and fruity, some sour cherry, sage, aniseed, clove, a dry touch of rose hip. Extremely X-massy. OK aroma, but in the end the spicy mixture doesn’t really work for me in a beer.

ARMed (625) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2014
2013 bottle. Opened Nov. 25, 2014. Beer had tons of carbonation when opened. Poured into a Belgian sifter glass and head was abundant. Carbonation excessive. Color and clarity was excellent. Light ruby red glowing brew with fruity (cherry and grapes) overtone. My only real problem with this beer is the aroma. Smelled like a sweaty locker room. Overall I enjoyed the fruity flavor. Also a nice hint of lactic acid.

VsXsV (4042) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2014
Draught at CBC 2014. Hazy amber liquid with a small white head. Aroma of licorice, spices, bread and dried fruit. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of spices, bread and raw sugar. Light to medium bodied with low carbonation. Really eccentric. Reminds me of Glühwein for sure, in a bad way...

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Sourish-spicy aroma. Starts malty-spicy, notes of some herbs, modest dry. Finish milder, spicy-malty aftertaste. Interesting beer!
