Keg at BD Shoreditch. Beetroot red/purple with little white head. Aroma is fullsharp funk and musty red berries. Taste is funky up front with red berries followed by a strong earthiness. Puckeringly tart. Nice

Tap at BrewDog Birmingham. I love spontaneity. Dark appearance, especially sitting outside in the dark, red and a delicious sour kick. Dave loved it, kept asking for a sip, Simon said it tasted like vinegar. Amateur. See, you asked for a description and now you get three for the price of one. Now that my friends is cracking value.

2011 Bottling.
Appearance: The body is a murky brown with a reddish tinge, there is almost no head, just a hint of carbonation.
Aroma: The aroma is mild with sweet cherries and raspberries balancing out a slightly tart and vinegar presence: Taste: The flavor is very mild and sweet upfront with blueberries and grapes that slides into a dry leather funk that finishes mildly sour with a touch of vinegar.
Palate: Light to medium bodied with just a touch of vinegar.
Overall: This is a very interesting beer and I very much enjoy it despite the ratings. The appearance is awful and the aroma is weak, but this is an enjoyable and complex beer that is worth trying.
