Fermented and maturated in oak vats. No adding yeast. Spontaneous fermentation because of adding freshly pressed Barbera grapes juice that contains the skins, directly from a viticulturist near Alba. Brewed once a year at vintage time obviously. Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles.

Keg at the GBBF 2016. Cloudy ruby with a rim of white froth. Sour cherry aroma. The taste is big and rich with sour cherry and woody notes. Loved it. Beer of the festival.

Bottleshare with bratchris - Cola-candy, grapeskins, slight rubber on the aroma. Flavor is not very sour, with notes of apple, nailpolish, oak, vanilla, slight red wine vinegar and the sort of fake forest fruit aroma you get from cheap lozenges, not in a bad way tho. This beer is incredibly complex and well balanced. Good!

Habanero (4680) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2016
Bottled. Pours clear redish deep brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of funk, barnyard notes, berries, red grapes and citrus. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Sour indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pours a beautiful, dark magenta color with very thin head. Aroma of oak, sour cherries, raspberries, and light vinegar. Flavor is sweet and tart and well balanced. I love it - in the running for best sour beer I’ve ever had!

M_Sack (720) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - FEB 12, 2016
Tap @ The Local Taphouse, Sydney. I expected a darker colour, this was wheat coloured (? Correct beer poured). In any case their were strong vinous notes in the aroma. This was mirrored through the palate with a refreshing, fruity, yet sour flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
