Fermented and maturated in oak vats. No adding yeast. Spontaneous fermentation because of adding freshly pressed Barbera grapes juice that contains the skins, directly from a viticulturist near Alba. Brewed once a year at vintage time obviously. Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles.

Cloudy, light brown, not much head. Has a hit of tartness, berryish, grapey, fruitiness.

Pours a beautiful, dark magenta color with very thin head. Aroma of oak, sour cherries, raspberries, and light vinegar. Flavor is sweet and tart and well balanced. I love it - in the running for best sour beer I’ve ever had!

Tap @ The Local Taphouse, Sydney. I expected a darker colour, this was wheat coloured (? Correct beer poured). In any case their were strong vinous notes in the aroma. This was mirrored through the palate with a refreshing, fruity, yet sour flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Bru during a sour event. Poured a murky very dark reddish purple with no head in particular. Sour dark berries. Dried black raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. Currants. Merlot. Bing cherries. Treacle. Tart brew with pleasantly refined dark fruit and oak.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Fruity smell with dried fruit. Light tart taste, fruity with stone fruit and dark fruit. Mellow tartness.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2017 Almost nonexistent head. No froth at all. Cranberry red colour. Sour cranberry, barnyard at first. Funky, spicy hints and berries again in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, low carbonated interesting drink. The bottle shoud be definitely shared. On tap at TCBW 2017. As Beerbera 2015. Pours dark amber colour. Medium white head. Spices, notes of white grapes, white wine, earthy notes in the aroma. Sourness, notes of grapes in the middle. Woody, leathery notes. Grapes in the end. Dry finish. Nicely balanced, really good brew.

375ml bottle. Clear mahagony red/brown color. Tiny size, very brief head. Leather, slightly rotten cherry, mold, bit woody and maybe rhubarb in aroma. Woody cherries, sour, rotten fruits and plastic in taste. Rotten cherries and acidic in aftertaste. Soft fizz. Slick mouthfeel. Not for me.

Oklar/dimmig, oxblods färgad, litet lätt rosa aktigt skum. Doft: Vinäger, danskt körsbärsvin, äppelkart, hallon, brutalt övermogna jordgubbar, jord, trä, jäst gräs, lätt doft av gammal blöt handduk. Smak: Polsk körsbärskompott, vin, alkohol, gräs/jord, funk, trä. Mycket god.

375ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Balsamic aroma. Acetic acid is always wrong in beer. Some cherry aspects. But fruity and does have some other interesting characters once you’re past the vinegar. Oh, shit, and then you taste it, and it all comes rushing back. Cherry again. Woodiness. Palate acidic and watery, has none of the aspects I love in 3F, Cantillon, Boon, etc. This is a travesty of sour beer. Finish dirty and dusty and dry. Finished the glass, that’s the biggest compliment I can pay.
