Fermented and maturated in oak vats. No adding yeast. Spontaneous fermentation because of adding freshly pressed Barbera grapes juice that contains the skins, directly from a viticulturist near Alba. Brewed once a year at vintage time obviously. Available in 375 ml or 750 ml bottles.

jphartley (49) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2015
On tap at the Wildeman in Amsterdam and a week later in Bottle. Both times this pours a nice red colour. Has the same aromas as a good Oude Kriek and tastes amazing. Has some tartness and funkiness but very in balance. This combination of wine and beer seems to get the best of both worlds. Probably the best beer I have drunk this year.

Saeglopur (2413) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - JUN 7, 2015
Draught at Ranzani 13, Bologna.
Dark amber body, with a small, frothy head.
Aroma of barrel, red wine, sour berries, ripe fruits, vinegar, some leather.
Taste follows this, maybe a bit lighter, with some more sour citrus.
Quite light mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes sour, wooden, fruity, with vinegar and some leather.

Very nice. Pretty much a Sour Red/Brown in my opinon. Not the best beer of this style I’ve had, but fresh, quite complex and comfortable.
