COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
- Lorenzo Dabove in arte Kuaska

chrisv10 (18495) - DENMARK - JUN 25, 2012
Bottle, 2011. Clear dark amber/brown with big diminishing off-white head. Aroma is malt, sour, fruit, berries, tart and a little acetone. Flavour is malt, sour, high carbonation, medium sweet, apples, little tart, little wood and a little acetone.

TBone (18221) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 18, 2013
Murky dark red-brown color, small off white head. Overriped berries and tartness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Overriped strawberry, berry juice, light tartness and celler. Active carbonation. Strong strawberry juice gone wild.

Bottle. Pours dark brown. Nose of musky grapes, funk, wood and yeast. Taste is funky musky grapes, very aged wine, leather, wet old wood and moderate acidity. Well balanced tartness. Velvety texture. Medium body.

yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2012
Bottle, at Olympen. It pours an almost clear, copper colored body, topped by a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is lightly vinegarish, with some dried fruits, berries and a hint of alcohol. Flavorwise, the dried fruits dominates, but there’s also a touch of vinegar and a faint caramel notes. Berries too. More or less full bodied, slightly tart on the palate. A decent amount of vinegar in the end. Overall, a bit on the vinegar side I think, but a nice beer anyway. 111015

Pleasant sour aroma, a little bit of the woody aromas. Palate is slightly harsh and dirty. Refreshing, but there’s a hint of aceticity again, which is a no-no. I’d like to try a beer from this brewery some time, so far their range of vinegars has been very interesting.

Benzai (16682) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 1, 2011
Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival @ De Molen, Bodegraven. Hazy dark orange color, no head. Smell is not good: sweaty and musty. Taste metal, sweat, vinegar and sour. Low carbonation, low body.

brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - JUL 11, 2012
The pour is a hazed reddish/amber color with an off-white head. Smell is surprisingly catty, but very tropical as well. Lots of melon, some grass, and a definite sweetness like all their sours seem to have. The flavor is moderately tart with some of the same tropical and melon notes. Not terribly complex, but there is a little bit of grass and oak, some berries, and maybe a bit of apple.

3.8
Dedollewaitor (16383) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2011
Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival, 2011. Pours cloudy amber orange with a small creamy head. White wine and a scent of berries. Smooth, dry, funky and very fresh. Tasty!

bhensonb (15751) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 21, 2011
Bottle from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark hazy ruddy with a fizzy beige head. Aroma is pleasantly vinous and bretty. Med body. Flavor is vinous, red berry earth and arguably a little bretty or at leas sour. Nice beer.

3.5
Scopey (15687) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2011
Bottle at Kernel Brewery tasting, thanks to Ang. It pours cloudy deep sunrise orange, with a thin fizzy off-white head. The nose is malt vinegar, red grape skin, spice, brown bread and red berry. The taste is juicy red grape, tart grape skin, strawberry, cherry, sweet raspberry, caramel, hay and straw, with a light tart finish. Medium body, average carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me, but nice nonetheless.
