COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
- Lorenzo Dabove in arte Kuaska

GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 14, 2011
My 100th sour rating! 750mL at Ma Che Siete Venuti a Fà in Rome. The pour is a hazy, ruby blood orange with heavy soda carbonation. A massive head erupts. Aroma is cardboardy, light red wine vinegar, ash, paper. Taste is spritzy, light, acetic spicy, malty, sweaty. Palate masked by huge carbonation. 5/4/7/3/12=3.1

Tap at Bir&Fud in Rome. Poured a hazy, dirty, deep orange with an excellent head. Heavy berry tartness in the nose. Taste is fresh, acidic, fruity, tart, white zinfandel grapes, sweet. Palate is fairly tannic. Gets a little metallic. Much better on tap. 7/4/7/4/14=3.6

Bottle. Poured a reddish brown color with a frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour, tart fruit and berry aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy sour dark fruit flavor with a medium to heavy sour dark fruit finish of moderate to long duration. This is a average beer for style.

Tap @ Borefts Beer Festival. First beer of the second day at the festival. Pours redish amber with a beige head. Aroma is sweet cherry, strawberries, bready, overall notes of berries, maybe a bit dessert wine and some tartness behind all the sweetness. Taste add some more cherry, some blood orange, winey aftertaste and sweetness from the aroma.

0,33 L bottle. A dark golden red colored beer with a thin off-white, small-bubbled head. Aroma of rounded fruity acitity. Hints of lemon, grape-skin and red berries. Body is medium full with anoce sparkling champagne-like carbonation. Taste is vinous, featuring red berries/fruits, lemon zest, light brett tones, and a certain vinagary astingency. Alcohol is very well masked. Tart, bitterish fruit ending. Flavorfull, with an attitude.
