Red grape aroma pervades here- were they trying to make a wine? The oak is light overall with some sourness and slight leather. Appearance is very dark amber/red with bone head. Flavor matches the nose, but with some herbal presence; the finish is sour and vinous overall. Palate is creamy with some prickly bubbles. Solid, not anything too outstanding.

2016 Bottle in Sciacca, Sicily, 2nd June 17. Pours copper in colour. Aroma is wine vinegar, tart fruit, funk, sharp. Taste is tart, sour, vinegar, vineous fruit, some bitterness, refreshing. Nice stuff.

On tap at På Kornet, Stavanger. Pours hazy dark copper without head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, acetone, nuts, almonds, alcohol, wine, horse stable, hay. Tastes sour with some funky bitterness, a little sweetness. Light to medium bodied. Low carbonation.
