Bottled. A pitch black beer with a fast disappearing brown head. The aroma has notes strong notes dextrose, and roasted malt - a bit burnt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, wood, destrose, and a bit of soy sauce, leading to a dry roasted and dextrose finish.

Bottled (backlog). Dark brown colour with a beige foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, liquorice, some sourness along with mild toffee and grains. Flavour is grains, chocolate, liquorice, mild alcohol and some sour wooden notes as well. Probably infected, as the sourness wasn’t all to pleasant nor suiting the beer.

Opaque black beer. Small tan head. Minerally dark malt nose. Fairly light palate, a little dry. Smooth dark malt that is not roasty or bitter. A licorice streak with subtle esters of banana and spicy bubblegum. Finishes with the malt getting sweeter but with a trace of coffee and more minerals.
