UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 Beautiful amber red color. Great example of the Irish Red style. Terrific balance of sweet, caramel malt flavor and subtle hops. Easy drinking and delicious. On tap at Swig and Swine in Charleston, pours a mostly clear copper amber with some tight white head. Nose is malty, soggy cracker, grains, some orange. Draught at the brewery. Pours clear amber with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is toast and caramel malt with light earthy hops. Flavor is toast and caramel malt with light earthy hops and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.
