Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, cereal, moderate hoppy, grass. Bamberg Bash Day 2. Draft at the Brewpub. Amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and softish with fine carbonation. Good malts, nice Marzen nuttyness. Little peel bitterness. Dried fruits. Dry crisp finish. Tasty.

Bottle shared at Lowenbrau in Buttenheim on day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clearish gold with a foamy white head. The nose holds crispy cereal and hay. Medium sweet flavour with further cereal, bread, light grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately crisp on the finish, with more lightly toasted cereal. Tasty beer.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared at the brewery tap - Buttenheim, 25/01/14. Golden with a big off white head. Nose had a metallic tinge to it, bready malts, fruit notes. Taste comprises toffee, grassy, light caramel, bread dough, no sign of the metallics. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light sweet notes in the closure. Ok stuff.
