CLear golden with little white head. Aroma is juicy malt, caramel, also lots of noble hops, slightly fruity and grassy, slight butter. Taste is juicy malt, not too sweet, a little bitterness and fresh sourness. Not too heavy, not much carbonation, easy to drink. Medium finish of the same with slight dust/corn. Nice one. One of the best Heller Bocks I ever had.

Bottle shared at Lowenbrau in Buttenheim on day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours rich gold with a foamy, off-white head. Quite sweet, though not cloying, with light toffee, hearty bread, toast, some dried leaves. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of caramelised sugars and brown bread. Tasty. Good take on the style.
