My Bottom Line :

Lightly toasted cereals and their sweetish undercurrents benefit from a rustic character before grassy hops take control of the aftertaste.

Further Personal Perceptions :

-There is barely a veil of foam atop the clear pale yellowish gold.

-While the body is quite lean, it never feels thin.

-A citrusy touch accompanies the wooden, grassy hop finish.

-The aroma gets better and better upon warming, showcasing more hay-like malt depth.

-This is obviously very drinkable; as their house blond lager, such personality in the flavor profile is commendable too.

Bottle.

As Hell from gravity barrel at Schaufel, Kellerwald.

Semi-sweet with faint mustiness (sulfur, calcium), Noble hops give their signature lemon-herb character. Malt is clean, bready / doughy (not yeasty). Medium body. Creamy carbonation, hoppy and bitter. You could convince me I was drinking the Ungespundetes Lagerbier instead.

Deep golden color. Very herbally and floral nose with modest amount of sweet malt with caramel jumping out. Moderately bitter mid palate. Highly refreshing

Bottle: Slightly hazy, thin but stable, lacing head; yeasty, grainy and dusty nose, with a big dash of hops; moderate, spicy, dry bitter flavour; long, grainy and hop-bitter, bit sweetish in the beginning, but quickly becoming drier, finish; low carbonation; a very pleasant, tasty, well rounded franconian Lager.
