Very close to Heineken Dark in taste, but maybe a bit bitter and not quite as good. Decent malt body. Surprisingly drinkable.

Libeerian (209) - Garner, North Carolina, USA - MAR 9, 2003
Weak malt nose and light bodied, Miller's version of this famous brew is uncomplicated though refreshing. The subtle malt finish fades very quickly.

freekyp (2412) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - APR 11, 2003
Nice malty nose. Deep chestnut body with medium, but quickly diminishing head. Decent caramel malt character throughout with bit of hops at finish. Not bad.

Nice malty aroma with small head. Malty creamy feel and taste but a little watered down. Just average for a darkie.

FLAVOR IS ROBUST. AFTERTASTE IS STRONG AND TART. APPEARANCE OUT OF BOTTLE IS CRISP AND CLEAR, BUT BELIES THE FLAVOR.

Delbomber (387) - Philadelphia, USA - AUG 23, 2001
Surprisingly, this is not terrible. Yeasty aroma hinting at coffee, followed by a yeast flavor that is accompanied by hints of prune and plums. Again, not terrible, just too yeasty and flat.

medium body, smooth malt, low hop. was actually pleasantly surprised, since i really don't care for their pale

Good malt profile throughout with medium body...............................

harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JAN 22, 2003
I was very weary of this, but I actually enjoyed it. Goes down really smooth. Very meduim-bodied, malty and creamy at the finish, I could drink this again.

Translucent walnut color, hardly a head, faint coffee nose. Starts out with a promising malty roastiness but then it abruptly stops and gets thin and watery.
