Senka (1082) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAY 22, 2014
50cl bottle. Aroma of burnt sugars, caramel and toffee. Pours clear brown, with thin, quickly disappearing head. Medium bitter, malty and rather alcoholic. Close to medium body, but not exactly a dunkel. It is ok, easy drinking beer.

Chungalunga (17) - Ljubljana, SLOVENIA - MAY 12, 2014
From bottle into a glass. Off-white persistent head, clear copper to dark red/orange hued colour, clear. Aroma: toffee, caramel, light herbal, bread crust. Taste: caramel, caffè d’orzo, bit sweet, something slight minty. Palate: light to medium body, prickly carbonation at first. OK dunkel.

Valahogy az az érzése az embernek, hogy némethonban más fogalma a dunkeleknek mint itthon. Dunkelforradalmat kishazánkba!

MRMedellin (301) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - APR 2, 2014
Clear dark beer with beige small and stable head. Coffee and malt aromas with some notes of leaves, medium body with caramel flavors and some esters at the medium and a nice bitterness at the end, but a watery finish.

OLD NOTES MAR 27, 2004 Out of the tap. Went down smoothly. Alot of caramel malt character with a tad of chocolate to it. Sweet, liked the flavour, but nothing outstanding to make an truely awesome beer.

bottle in Sochi, Russia. poor dunkle, dirty flavor. perhaps old as it was bought at a strange 24hr shop. roasty, burnt coffee. bad

Tap at the Lowenbraukeller Munich 23/1/14. First beer of the trip. Aroma is rye bread, wood bark, spritzy carbonation. Clear dark red / caramel pour with a big lasting cream head that laves some foam and lace. Flavour is bready rye bread, caramel sweetness and some earthy, mannure notes. Highish carbonationtickles the tongue, medium light body, Teast profle is fairly subdued, but there is a hint of banana ester in there. Finish has a nice touch of roast and wood. lateer some cabbage develops in the nose, which isn’t great. Overall one the better dunkes I’ve had.

worldbeertaste (1804) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 15, 2013
Deep ruby brown with a thin, beige, creamy, lacy, lasting head. Smells of deep malt, caramel, toasted malt, roast and bread. Medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of sweet malt but like brown sugar was added to it. Caramel in the middle and a bitter roast on the finish that balances it out a bit. Mostly sweet caramel sugar through. Tastes processed to me.

Marcius (447) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - SEP 15, 2013
Amber color (dark) and high foam with medium duration. Faint aroma, but you can feel the toasted malt. The taste is roasted malt and hops, that balances the bitterness well. A good Dunkel!

Rich roast-ish, chocolate aroma. taste falls a little short of aroma, but not bad. smooth, dry finish. I think it’s gut!
