Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep rubyish brown colour, with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some mild roasted notes as well as mild burnt sugar. Flavour is quite grassy hoppy along with caramel and roasted malts. Aftertaste is rather sweet. Still very wellbalanced, even though not that exciting. UPDATED: JUN 12, 2008 Lowenbraukeller, Munich. Slender beige lid on ruby. Light and transparent for a dunkel. Chocolatey malt and nuts on the snout, with a sniff of something vegetal. Creeping cherryish fruit, watery prune, chocolate. Thinnish, metallic and a bit raisiny. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 1, 2008
Dark brown with a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, light hints of nuts and the finish is dry. It seems so malty clean in the overall impression. johndoughty (5543) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 20, 2008
