A red-brown beer with a thin light brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of straw, but also light notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of both straw and caramel. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2006
Clear orange red coloured with an off white head.
Sweet aroma of malts, caramel, bread and prunes.
Flavour of malts, caramel and bread. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JAN 25, 2009
Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep rubyish brown colour, with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some mild roasted notes as well as mild burnt sugar. Flavour is quite grassy hoppy along with caramel and roasted malts. Aftertaste is rather sweet. Still very wellbalanced, even though not that exciting.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pretty, clear light brown with a neat, off-white head. Nose is purely roasted malt. Medium body with loads of roasted malt and caramel. Perhaps even a lightly burned edge. Mainly sweetish with a light bitter finish. A classical and lovely Dunkel. 220106 Beerhunter111 (22515) - P´Castle, GERMANY - NOV 16, 2017
50cl bottle. A clear chestnut brown beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of mild caramelish malt, reddish malt, some chocolate. Taste of mild roasted malt, caramel, red malt, some red fruits, some chocolate, okay! Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUN 11, 2011

Deep amber color; light hop aroma; light malt in the taste, and sweet caramel. Not bad, but missing a bite.
Deep amber color. Quite nice malt and caramel aroma. Simple taste, with a very strong caramel character, sweet in the front and bitter later, but somehow metallic.
Bottled (Beerangel, BB 02/2010).
Deep clear ruby color, small vanishing beige head. Aroma is a bit caramelly, malty, metallic with notes of toasted sugar. Dry grassy hoppy flavor, finish is kind of papery. Watery palate. Aftertaste is mainly malty with some caramelly touch. Feels a bit cheap. Not very interesting Dunkel.
