MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2007
Bottle, 5.5%. Roasted aroma, slightly metallic. Clear dark brown colour. Small, semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and clean. Late aftertaste, weak, but nicely roasted. Quite nice for a standard dunkel.

crossovert (13724) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 15, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 16, 2011 Vom Fass. It is a light, easier-drinking dunkel that packs some nice flavor into a thirst-quenching package.

bierkoning (13596) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle. Malt, caramel, cookie dough and cardemom in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor with cardemom. Quite drinkable, though not world shocking.

Rune (13353) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 27, 2006
300ml vom fass at Malhäser in Stuttgart. Clear and deep mahogany in colour with a dense beige head. Heavy malt aroma. Sweet malty flavour of caramel. A watery mouthfeel and a bit too much carbonated (22.04.2006).

Bov (13221) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 29, 2009
from beerangel.de - clear and translucide ruby-brown colour with a solid beige foam; gently toasted caramelish nose; slightly earthy; sweet and medium-bodied, moderate carbonation and low bitterness; aftertaste of butterscotch - deeply boring

mR_fr0g (13155) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
Tap at the Lowenbraukeller Munich 23/1/14. First beer of the trip. Aroma is rye bread, wood bark, spritzy carbonation. Clear dark red / caramel pour with a big lasting cream head that laves some foam and lace. Flavour is bready rye bread, caramel sweetness and some earthy, mannure notes. Highish carbonationtickles the tongue, medium light body, Teast profle is fairly subdued, but there is a hint of banana ester in there. Finish has a nice touch of roast and wood. lateer some cabbage develops in the nose, which isn’t great. Overall one the better dunkes I’ve had.

Mariusz (12088) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2012
Malty and herbal aroma. Brown colour, beige head, fair lace. Pretty sweet, dark malts, light bitter, bit sugary.
