Bottled (from beerangel.de). Deep rubyish brown colour, with small beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, some mild roasted notes as well as mild burnt sugar. 500 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet malts, bread and burnt sugar. Flavour of bready malts, residual sugar, syrup, some dried fruits and mild bitterness. Medium bodied. A decent dunkel, although a bit too sweet.

Darker copper coloured with a small tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, some caramalised sugars, a bit of pit fruit and a fragrant nuttiness. Medium-bodied; Mild malt flavour throughout with a subtle hint at those pit fruits with more of a stronger taste with the nuts. Aftertaste lasts long in the palate with some of the bittering agents dropping in longer. Overall, a decent dunkel, nothing superlative, but great to try! tap at the bavarian. pours a dark brown with a fat head. aroma is sweet roast malt. taste is cotton candy and caramel, boat loads of caramel, some roasted almost, but not quite burnt taste in the finish. nice balance of medium bitter in the finish also. highly carbonated enjoyable brew even if it is a bit oversweet. (bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a fluffy, quite persistent foamy light-beige head. Dusty, slightly ashy malt aroma, moderately roasted. Dark-malty taste with chocolate and shy notes of caramel; medium bodied, crispy carbonation; moderately dry malty, light-bitter finish with shy notes of herbal hops. Not bad, a bit mediocre.
