jaghana (6070) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - AUG 19, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2012 Bottle 50cl. A very cloudy yellow orange beer with huge head. Classc hefeweissbier, very perfumed, dominant wheat and fresh bread aromas. The body is low, palate is creamy, basic. Re-rated, well perfumed, good malt body too, good.

gunnar (9096) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 20, 2010
Bottle in Gyor, Hungary. Pours hazy orange with a big creamy white top. Nice sour yeasty aroma, typical hefe, with even the banana and citrus present. Taste is light sweet with a nice sour yeasty twist, banana. Medium bodied. Long aftertaste, a classical hefeweizen.

Balazs (787) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2010
Poured with honey color and a white, bubbly head that dissolved to nothing fast. Yeast, slight banana and honey in the aroma. Light body with very high carbonation. Sweet taste with a sweet finish as well. This one is easy to drink. Not great, but not that bad ether.

Weak aroma, flavor lacking sweet banana taste common to wheat beers.

luttonm (6282) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 20, 2010
.5l bottle in Budapest. Clean lemon-juice pour, a bit hazy. Heavy bubble, foamy head. Nose is a bit sour, eggs, wheat and yeast. Finishes relatively crisp and dry after a pretty standard but bright hefe flavor. Not bad, but pretty mediocre all around.

inbirraveritas (1580) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 6, 2010
Pours a nice hazy orange, the head is frothy/rocky and remains thinly on top. Smell of banana and cloves. It begins crisp with a fruity taste, mouthfeel’s the usual thin-kind (but at this case it’s not influencing negatively the taste). The middle has a light tart aroma of grain, cloves and some citrus hops. The finish is spicy, just tiny bitter and dry with a good aftertaste at last. Overall a pleasant brew (without any surprises).

mross (169) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - APR 30, 2010
Bottle. Very hazy dark golden brown with a huge creamy white head. Aroma is mostly of wheat with a tiny hint of over-ripe banana. Wheat is also dominant in the flavour with some citrus fruit and spice. The mouthfeel is rough with a dry finish. Quite a weak, watery and stale hefeweizen.

Can. Hazy hazelish orange pour, creamy off white head. Aroma of banana, malts and herbs. Flavour is sweet and full of banana, evolving to a mildly sour fruit something. Ok cheap hefe.
