Kind of bready. Reminds me of your average macro, just lacking adjuncts. Decent enough, I really wouldn’t drink it again unless offered

It has a sweet bready finish that appeals to me somewhat but otherwise its low on the lager chain. My wife claims its one of the best. I said Miller High Life and Coors Original are better tasting. It has a nice head to it. It poured like a golden shower, nuff said.

I dont like lagers. But this one is quite nice. Pours a lovley golden sunshine. Sticky head, mild laceing. Sweet grassy malt on the nose, floral hop. Taste is golden sweet malt, slight bready malt, {posible due to an adition of milled wheat?} balanced with a lovley blend of bitter and floral hops, and a palate of light tinny bubbles dancing in a light body, all combing to create a clear crisp perfectly round lager, perfect for multipule bottles in the hot sun. Aftertaste is suprisingly dry, slight hop, roboust malt in the finish. Lovley. Just lovley. Cheers

Bottle: Clear gold with a sticky white head. Slightly dusty, slightly toffeeish aromas with some golden hay and wintery pine notes. Quite sweet and silky and thickly coating the mouth with light hops flavours. Nicely balanced and quite hearty.

Not terrible. This is a new style for me. Poured a golden straw colour with an average head. Smelled better than a macro lager. Taste was bolder with a touch of spices. Went well with goulash and spatzle.

Clear and yellow with a big loose white head. Skunky and malty in aroma. Clean and dry. Watery. The least interesting of the Munich Helles.

Just a golden coloured beer, nothing too special. Slightly rough finish, its ok, but there are many better German beers out there.

a harsh aftertaste, very strong going down. otherwise a typicalily good brew. another german import that is a decent beer, but is nothing to make a fuss over.

Overall this is a basic pale german lager to me. This was pretty good for this, but I’m not big on german lagers.

GregClow (3402) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 1, 2005
500 mL can. Pale golden-yellow with a slight greenish tinge and a good sized white head that leaves some nice lacing. Light aroma, sweet and grassy, a little herbal. Thin body, very wet, with mild malt flavour and a moderately hopped finish. An average int’l lager.
