Golden with a medium lasting head, this is a fairly sweet beer, both in aroma and taste. The beer is smooth to drink, tasting of sweet grainy malts, some crispness, and some (noble) hop bitterness. A just decent Pils wxman (1819) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - APR 7, 2005
Malt and hops barely noticable in a clean almost odorless nose. Pale yellow appearance with very little head retention or lacing. Taste is of sweet malt with some Saaz hops. This sample was pretty good, and I’m glad they’re making this in Munchen again instead of Canada or at Miller in Texas. Nevertheless, in Germany this is the equivalent of Budweiser. UPDATED: NOV 4, 2009 In bottle frequently and on tap at the Lowenbrau Keller, Munich, Germany. Pours thin with a nice, frothy head. Aroma is slightly skunky, but not too overpowering. Taste is heavy on the hops, but light and crisp overall all. The finish allows the taste to linger for quite awhile. Best on tap, especially at the source!

Bottle. Golden colour with a big white head. Weak hoppy aroma and a light sweet light bitter taste. Medium body and a light sweet dry finish. mephisto (1288) - TAIWAN - MAR 23, 2005
a nice lager from germany. small head w/ golden color, it’s smooth and ok. PeterA (342) - EL SALVADOR - MAR 22, 2005
As soon as I smelled this, I knew it was a German beer, with the fruits and hops in the aroma. The appearance is as expected, a light golden color with a white head that didn’t last long. The flavor starts with hints of citrus and finishes slightly bitter. The palate is light with a touch of carbonation. Overall, better than I expected.
