1.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2013 Can. Pours a golden body, with an average white head that diminishes pretty quickly, leaving a fair lace. Malty aroma as soon as I open the can, absolutely no hops in taste, creating a very malty-based body, with notes of skunk and sweat, that becomes unbearable after a few sips. High carbonation level, thin bodied, watery texture. Definately noot good.
Old Rating : Can. Pours a golden body, with an average white head that diminishes very quickly, leaving a fair lace. Mostly bready ,malty aroma, with notes of skunk. Medium bitter taste, heavy bitter finish. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, watery-oily texture. Not anything special, not anything very wrong. Drinkable, I guess.
Keg at White Hart, Chobham. Vague yeasty musty aroma. Gild. Bubbly. Thin but creamy white head. Sweet and sour. Develops a crisp bitter edge. Light - medium bodied. Slick. Low key fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. If this type of style is too sweet it kills it for me. After the initial sweetness this dies down. Enjoyable enough for what I would class as a session beer. Never going to score it overly highly. Hoppy_Luke (1960) - Poznań, POLAND - AUG 24, 2017
Piwo o przyjemnej, złotej barwie i niewielkiej, białej pianie. Aromat właściwie tylko słodowy. W smaku również przeważają nuty słodowe, ale gdzieś w tle, delikatnie goryczkę można wyczuć. Wysycenie średnie. Pijalne! Rychuku (157) - POLAND - AUG 18, 2017
Just another green-bottled lager. Straw-yellow with no foam. Malty aroma with skunk and a weird note of tap water. Malty taste with skunk. Bitterness low, almost empty. AleMuse25 (139) - Gdańsk, POLAND - AUG 16, 2017

Bottle from Gourmeo24. Clear golden colour, white foam. Sweet malts, some sourish notes, light bitter finish. Ok, not very bad. PapaCanard (165) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 25, 2017
Bue à la canette un soir de canicule. Idéale pour se désaltérer. Bière parfaite pour cette action, elle n’est pas un grand cru. Maits (556) - ESTONIA - JUN 20, 2017
Clear dark golden colored beer with white head. Aroma is sweet malts, herbs and grass. Taste is nice refreshing fruits and sweet malts. Light and thin beer, but it´s still descent beer. glennmastrange (2897) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Can. Light grain for the malt, light herbs for the hops, faint leaves for the yeast, with hints of cooked vegetables. Head is average sized, fizzy, white, with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is clear gold. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and slightly bitter. Palate is light, watery, with a lively to fizzy carbonation and a lightly dry finish. A little light for a Bavarian Helles, but still a tasty beer. gripweed57 (2731) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 15, 2017
From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Lowenbrau Munchen". Brassy gold color. creamy white head. Fragrant sweet malt/spicy hop aroma. Sweet clover like malt flavor. Subtle semi dry hop finish. Brief dry aftertaste. Overall, mild by Bavarian standards, but more complex than the American version brewed by Miller.
