Tap at the White Hart, Chobham - 02/02/13. Clear pale blonde, no head, carbonation evident. Nose is somewhat subdued - citrus, grass. Taste comprises pale malts, grain, honey, sugars. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, dryish in the finish.

Golden yellowish color. Average foam. Smell is malty, grainy. The taste is sweet, malts, but very sheety. The palate is ok, again sweet and drinkable but it looks like a cheapest beer, but in fact it isn’t..

Keg at the Pitcher & Piano, Reading. Gold with a light, soft fizz and a thin, dissipating white head. Cardboardy, slightly skunky aroma. Tastes rather better than it smells, with butter and a little lemon. Smoothish with a hint of cream. It grew on me as I drank more- not to the point of actual enjoyment, mind, but it was maybe getting close to ambivalence. I think that this was the "premium" lager in the student union back when I was at uni, but with such a light and forgettable flavour it stood no chance of sparking off any happy memories.

Pours a pale golden colour, with a big head that lasts forever, leaving a big lace. Aroma of grains, herbs, clove. Fresh creamy palate, medum body and good carbonation. Taste of grains, cloves, herbs, fruits. Great refreshing beer.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden pour. Thin white head. Medium carbonation. Minimal lacing. Aroma: malts, grain, sunflower seeds, bread. Flavour is clean malts & grains, bread, proper hoppy lager-like bitterness. Dry finish. Watery texture. Fairly classic. One should have sausages and saurkraut to fulfil this motherf*cker.

Bierdimpfe (550) - Quebec, CANADA - OCT 9, 2016
Bright straw color with dense pearly activity. Slightly frothy white 3 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with faint lacing. Flavors of sweet roasted grains, faint skunk and metal, a bit floral, and weak noble hops. Lots of sweetness, low bitterness. Slick medium body with prickly and crispy carbonation. Light finish, lingering syrupy sweet roasted malts, and very faint grassy hops. Very fresh but watery, not very flavorful. Overall the quality is mediocre.
