Very lightly colored and bodied. Dry hoppy taste with a hint of hallertauer aroma when the beer gets a bit warmer. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2002

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2004 my favorite beer. Made in canada but to 'german standards' or whatever that means. Great taste and aroma. schniffy (42) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 28, 2001
Great First time I had this outside of Germany. Almost taste like the stuff I had in the beergarden. Will buy again for sure. BeerNazi (169) - winnetka, California, USA - SEP 20, 2001

Distinctive hoppy taste, enjoyable, went down well. 21iceman40 (1735) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 3, 2001
A respectable brew. I liked this stuff. It wasn’t five star flavor, but it was still good. biermeister99 (4) - Windermere, Florida, USA - AUG 4, 2001 does not count
Overall this beer is better than anyother beer I have tried. It is very smooth and easy on the palate. fishman (350) - Philadelphia, USA - JUL 2, 2001
This beer started out well and then went to pot when it warmed up. A bit fruity, slightly fuzzy. Not really worth it. Delbomber (387) - Philadelphia, USA - JUN 29, 2001
Clear, copper coloring with very little head, this beer was not very enjoyable. Too much yeast and grain flavor. Tastes similar to Amstel Light, with a little more bite. No one can accuse this beer of being bland, but its taste sure leaves a lot to be desired. I still haven’t found a better Canadian beer than Molson Canadian.
