Bottle. Bronze-brown. Very sweet aroma, many shades of malt, dried fruit, spirits. Taste: malt sweetness, dried red currants, caramel, wine. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUL 7, 2016
Brian body, beige head. Brown bread, pound cake, bay leaves, bit dusty. Totally in style and while the clean fermentation makes it a little dull, it’s quality stuff. Tasty malty body, very pleasant alcohol warmth. Not sharp or nasal at all, which i like. Generally I would prefer more sweetness but from now and then a good bock is very much appreciated, and this a good one. (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière) User369532 (907) - - JUN 24, 2016
Bottle. Almost black color, tan head. Smell of chocolate. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, caramel, roasted malt. Heavy sweet, light bitter. Not bad, but it actually tastes more like cocoa then beer. Ritzn (1380) - GERMANY - MAR 30, 2016
Dark brown, almost black. Little light brown head. Aroma: dark chocolate, raisins, some slight smoke. Nice bitterness, tiny sweetness and a bit sourness from the carbonation. Long aftertaste. Overall decent. Cthulhu (1035) - MARSHALL ISLANDS - MAR 27, 2016

Pours an almost black color with red hints to it, while holding the beer against the light, together with a big, fluffy white head.
Smells of earth infused, spicy licorice, soothed by toffee and raisins.
Has a lower carbonation, resulting in a very soft mouthfeel, which turns out to be a tad fuller than your usual Bock.
Tastes of toffee, wood bark, dried earth and rock sugar from the beginning, with spices joining in. The beer’s spiciness creates a peppery bite, mellowed by the overall smoothness, opening up the palate to raisins and glazed caramel. After the swallow the established sweetness finds its counterpart in an earth supported dryness, almost reminding of cold pressed coffee beans, due to the use of a prominent, utmost spicy earth quality and warming alcohol, creating an awesome balance till the end.
This convinces for creating a fantastic and ever evolving depth of flavors, highlighting typical Doppelbock qualities, together with a unique, spicy twist. King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - JAN 6, 2016
Clear dark brown color with foam layer. Licorice and sweet ambery nose. Ambery sweet, heavy, smooth and thick taste. Calm normal aftertaste. Beerkenstock (113) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - JAN 2, 2016
Eye: pours a nice clear brown, coke like color with a medium thick and not too quickly dissipating beige head and medium to strong carbonation.
Nose: malts, dark dried fruits such as prunes, prune juice
Mouth: prune juice again, Rimuss, pleasant carbonation and tickling on the tongue
Palate: roasted nuts, chocolate and coffee malts
Overall: not too sweet and not too much alcohol, nice mix between sweetness and bitterness, almost porter like! otherwise not as complex as I thought it would be though.
