Jaha, ytterligare en ’icke-favorit’. Ölen är väldigt spretig och burdus med inslag av malt i smaken.

inbirraveritas (1612) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 27, 2012
Bottled. Pours a clear orange golden with a fluffy white head on its top. Low-keyed, malty nose and aroma ruled by bread and dough escorted by some mild grassy hops in the background. Malty finish with some spices and some metallic hints. A simple Helles with a slick texture, which make it easy drinkable.

Swing top bottle shared with McTapps. Nice and easy but in the end nothing saying. Some malt, medium carbo, bit sour ending. There are far better beers from Löwenbräu on the market. This one is just mediocre.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - SEP 24, 2012
Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Golden in colour, low head. Taste is the one of a typical Dortmunder....mild citrus fruits, pomelo hints. Medium-balanced bitternessand carbonation. Boring, but okay to drink.

Clear golden colour with medium white head. Aroma is sweet grainy with taste of hay and malt, medium body and fresh crispy finish.

25/04 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks for sharing! It poured clear pale yellow body with bigger head. Poor honey and egg aroma, typical for malty pale lagers. Flavor wasn’t any better, slightly sweet butter, egg and honey malt with sour corny and ashy notes. Medium bodied. It did show some decent bitterness in the aftertaste but that didn’t improved it much. I couldn’t see nothing more than a boring, even sub-par pale lager packed nicely.

Ein typisch urbayerisches bier mit kräftig malzigen geschmack. Es hat ein leicht dunkle färbung.

tseo (155) - Athens, GREECE - JUN 3, 2012
Smell: Stale, like old bread. Mouthfeel: Full, lively, buttery, average carbonation. Taste: Hops, Bread, Strawberry, grapes, underlying hints of honey. Finish: Malty, some caramel, some short-lasting bitterness. Overall: A good, dense pale lager, malty, not sweet. Quite moreish.
