250 ml draught at Café Hollander in Madison, WI, August 18th. Solid, typical wit appearance - cloudy, almost opaque gold with a thick fluffy lasting head...banana, lemon and just a hint of farmy, murky yeast in the pleasing but slight aroma...on the tongue, only a hint of that wheaty tartness, this is overall much sweeter than usual for the style, and the finish is not far off from (sweet) lemonade...it’s got a decent fullness to the body, and it’s drinkable enough, and I was hot from walking outside and this was the first beer at lunch - but that’s not enough to make it memorable. I’ve had some or all of the other Lowlands Collaborative beers here at Hollander and a couple of other locations, and frankly none of them have been all that special.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2015 At Benelux in Milwaukee. Maybe this batch was a little different than some of the other raters had but this was once of the most spiced/clovey wits I’ve had. Serving: Tap
