Tastes like a lighter version of Yeungling's Lager. This is good beeer for downing ice cold after mowing the lawn on a hot day. Definitely better than Rolling Rock but I'll stick with Yeungling amx1970390 (480) - Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 3, 2003
Popcorn and cat litter aroma. Light red / brown in color, very clear. No head. Taste is like well water and brown sugar. Aftertaste is hard to swallow and little fishy. I am not a lager fan and this is why. Dorwart (2604) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - SEP 1, 2003
Decent light tan head form the pour. Aroma is a little dry with slight hops and malt. Color is a nice orange amber with ok carbonation. Flavor? What flavor! Very thin of mainly malt and whatever they added to get the nice color. No character at all. Finish is slightly bitter and dry. A cheap lager by Latrobe but still a step up from Rolling Rock. Hell, street runoff is a step up from Rolling Rock. beastdog75 (364) - Brick, New Jersey, USA - AUG 29, 2003
Tasted like a light beer to me. Quite watery. Smells like a wet dog. Has minimal caramel and nutty notes. Very disappointing. sloth (2923) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2003
Good size offwhite head, short lived. Crystal clear amber color. Bready malty nose. Med/light body. Good mouthfeel. Medium sweet maltiness with a slight hop, spicey flavor.Finish is medium dry, slightly oxydized. Guess this is Latrobes answer to yuenglings amber lager? Good try! But nuthin special.

Nice amber color, clear, with a large foamy white head. Goes downhill from there. Aroma primarily of corn, flavor primarily of corn with the nasty rolling rock aftertaste that you get from this brewery. Overall, bad.
